The History Player was developed so that we could use our database of historical Tick Quote data during the research and development phase of our indicators and strategies. It enables the user to select what time period and speed at which to pass Bid/Ask/Trade quote data to NinjaTrader as an external data feed. NinjaTrader then receives this data as if it were a real-time data feed. There are many uses of the History Player to complement the existing Replay functions available in NinjaTrader.
